This Grimm's Building Set Shapes & Colours contains 70 wooden blocks in a range of shapes and rainbow colours that sit together in five stacking wooden frames. These Grimm's fraction blocks, cylinders, slats, triangles and cubes are perfect for building, maths games, creating mandalas and more. This colourful wooden block set is an ideal wooden educational toy for home educators and schools, and a fun toy that children will love to play with at home. With 70 pieces, there are more than enough blocks for siblings and friends to share and play co-operatively together. Assign each child a colour and ask them all to create a house; discover how fractions work by looking at the paired blocks; and use them all in creative games, building beautiful play scenes for dolls and wooden animals to live in. Montessori followers will love how these simple, stylish Grimm's blocks can be used in a myriad of ways for learning through play. Through lifting and placing each individual block, children will develop their fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities and spatial understanding.

Each frame is 31cm long. The wooden blocks vary in length from 1cm-8cm.

Ethically made from sustainable lime wood, these blocks are stained with non-toxic, water-based colour which allows the grain to show through. The blocks are not varnished, ensuring they will not easily slip off one another when building imaginative constructions.
